FULL- AND PART-TIME POSITIONS

Sahlan Momo Foundation Art and Archives Intern.

Term
The Sahlan Momo Foundation Art and Archives internship is an unpaid position with a commitment of 28 hours per week. Internship terms will run as follows:
January–March
April–June
July–September
October–December

Responsibilities

  • maintain (physical) object files documenting Momo’s artwork
  • (library) research for artist’s exhibition history and bibliography in preparation for the catalogue raisonné
  • fact-checking and image research for website and publications
  • narrator outreach and preparation of narrator biographies for “stories” project, collecting memories, recollections, and impressions of Momo by his friends, associates, and admirers
  • assist in processing the artist’s archives
  • assist in digitizing images, research, and archival materials
  • work with curators and editor on writing assignments for the Foundation website
  • work with collections manager to catalogue print and photograph holdings
  • work with collections manager to maintain the digital database
  • prepare posts for and monitor activity on Momo Foundation social media channels
